Zach got Daddy a hilarious talking card that was from Optimus Prime. It cracks me up every time I hear it!
I can't get my video to work, but it starts out..."There is greatness in you..."
Here is a funny gift I got Darin. :-) He loves new, bright and shiny. He needs a little help on his dental care. Costco had a great deal on the new Sonicare Platinums. So that's what I got him. He told me that he is going to get me a vaccum cleaner. LOL! :-)
We had a really nice day of church and hanging out.
When he woke up on Monday I said, "Zach, you graduate today!" and he said, "I know." Then a little later he asked me, "Aren't you going to tell me happy graduation day?" Then he asked his sister the same thing. Funny boy. :-)
Here he is with his buddies on the last day of school. We're pretty sure Teacher Collette made recommendations that these 3 go to different classes. :-)
Zach came home from preschool and had a snack and then told me he wanted to go lay down to rest before his graduation. His teachers told him to take a nap in the afternoon. Why didn't they tell him this everyday?? :-)
I can't believe the time has come for our "Monday" (or when we could fit it in) play dates to end.
Vicky and I started switching play days back in the Fall of 2009 when we were looking for a way to get a "kid free" day every now and again. :-) Zach and Brady hit it off right a way. They are really two peas in a pod. Both are very much "all boy"!
This was the boys back in 2009 when we started and they were 2 (almost 3).
Then at the beginning of 2010, we added another little boy to our play dates. Renee and Tyler joined up and that gave us two Mondays a month free!
I would take the boys to the YMCA in the morning so I could weight lift & they could play. They are watching a movie. :-)
Then here they were in June 2010 when we ended that school year.
At the beginning of the 2010-11 school year we lost Tyler to Kindergarten and added Michaela and Christian to the group.
Winter of 2011
2011-12 School Year
Here are the boys in the Fall of 2011 on our field trip to Maris Farms.
Then to the fire station in the Winter of 2012.
Wednesday, June 6th, was the last play date at my house. Unfortunately Christian didn't make it. It was just the two boys that made us start it all. :-)
They ALWAYS wanted mac 'n cheese for lunch. Zach with hot dogs, Brady without.
Here are Zach and Brady's last words for this season of their life. :-)
Thank you Mom's for sharing your boys with me and for giving your time and love for my boy.
I know I have kept my sanity (somewhat) because of these days we shared.
Let's have a terrific Summer enjoying the sun (we hope) and dreaming of the Fall when our little boys are in FULL TIME KINDERGARTEN!!!
