Happy Holidays......Already??

Sunday, 11-08-09
That's right, we have already started the holiday celebrations. Grandpa Frink and Grandma Myrna are going to be traveling during the holidays, so we had them over to celebrate Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas all-in-one. :-) What would that be called??
Hall-thank-mas.....hee, hee

Grandma Myrna retired 9-30-09 and so they are heading out on the open road looking for warmth and relaxation. Lucky! Might I add, in the lap of luxury.....their travel trailer (Coach, when they are this big) is nicer then a lot of homes. Might as well roll in style. :-)

They really wanted to see the kids in their costumes.
Then we had Thanksgiving dinner. Not exactly the "normal" one. I made pork roast in the crock pot (it turned out really good), southern style sweet potatoes, fresh cranberry sauce, fresh beans/mushrooms/carrots/onions sauteed and Rhodes frozen rolls (yum, yum!). Then we topped it off with Marie Callenders pumpkin pie and whip cream. Not traditional, but still yummy!

The part the kids were really looking forward too......Christmas presents!
Elissa was so excited about her treasure box with a key! She wondered how Grandma Myrna knew that she wanted a treasure box.....Grandma's just know these things.Zach loved the new building set he got. It is the new Fisher Price Trio, which are very cool and I would totally recommend them. And let me just add that I'm VERY excited to use my new crock pot (with locking lid & cool to the touch handles & meat thermometer setting)!!
We will miss you very much during the holidays, but we wish you a wonderful time traveling around and enjoying retired life.
