We did the Puyallup!

Saturday, 9-12-09
Grandma Myrna had a wonderful idea to all go to the fair together. She didn't think that her and Grandpa Frink had gone to the fair but once since the first time together in 1975.....it's about time they went again!

It was also a celebration for Grandma Myrna's birthday on the 16th, so we had a birthday breakfast. We got her a digital photo frame and I loaded it with pictures. She is retiring at the end of the month and they are headed to the open road in their beautiful Coach, so this will be nice to take a lot of pictures with them. :0)
Grandma Myrna also brought Lissy a gift for a celebration of the start of school. Look at these cute sassy jeans!
So off to the fair we went! We went to Sillyville first to get the rides done first. Darin took the kids down the giant slide. Elissa got really scared last year, but she did good this year.
Zach absolutely loved it! He wanted to go again. He did a dance as soon as they stopped. It was so cute.
Love the airplanes!
Another ride that scared Elissa last year - the dragon roller coaster. She would yell "stop!" every time she went around. Well this year proved tough for both of them. Zach had to be taken off after one time around, but Elissa stayed on.
You can see though, that she still wasn't having a very good time. She pushed through her fear and said it wasn't that bad after it was over. :0)
So Cute! I need to blow this up and turn it to B&W.
Riding the train around.
Zach loving this free little drumming area.
Grandma Myrna takes Elissa on the ferris wheel.
I really thought Elissa was going to get freaked out, but she loved it!
Then Grandpa Frink took Zach down the giant slide again.
So much fun!!
Zach attacking Elissa was his new sword (that makes real fun sounds).
Walking through the dairy barn.
Elissa learning how to milk the fake cow.
Then looking at all the bees.
The kids have about had it by this time. Grandpa Frink is trying to keep them in the stroller so we can see a few more booths before we head out. It has been a long day for all!
The kids are getting a little boot massage on the jiggle foot before we leave.
Thanks Grandma Myrna for this really fun day!
