2008 in Review - Summer Part 1

4th of July Annual Tapps Island Parade

Here we are getting ready for the parade....adding our festive decorations. :0)
Holly, Chad, Cole, Zach, Elissa & Grandpa

The parade has started!
We just walk down mainstreet together with the fire engine & boy scouts.
Sweet Lissy and Cutie Caden

Zach and Chase
They seem to be two peas in a pod. We are all wondering just what kind of things they will get themselves into as they get older. :0)

Lissy and Cole
They are the best of friends. They are always very excited to see each other and hang out.

Lincoln Rock State Park
7-13 thru 7-17-08
We went camping with Darin's parents, Dennis & Myrna. This was the first time that we had been to Lincoln Rock and we really enjoyed it. They are very nice campsites and the view of the Columbia River is beautiful. We plan on going there again next year.

The kids have bunk beds and Zach is sleeping in the bottom bunk this year. Here he is curled up in the corner. He was really good taking naps and going to bed in the trailer. He also gave up his bottle on this trip. The first night he said that he didn't want his bottle and so I didn't give it to him. He got a sippy cup of milk instead and he hasn't had one since. It was bitter sweet. My baby wasn't a baby anymore. All the baby is gone and now he is a toddler. No other babies for us.
I shed a little tear here.....

Elissa loves going over to Grandpa Frink's and Grandma Myrna's coach. Here she is in Grandpa's shirt, hanging out with them.

Playing at Lake Entiat in the camping area.
This has been the only time that Zach would keep his sunglasses on. For some reason this time he really wanted to wear them everywhere. Such a cute surfer boy!

Zach's favorite thing, to stroll around on his trike.

Zach's having so much fun with Grandpa!

Looking for something to get into.....

Lissy's just hanging out....

Elissa met some girls and had a great time playing with them every day.
There was a little repair going on, so Zach and Daddy went to watch the tractor.

Our little hang out area.....I know it kind of looks like our backyard. :0)
This was a very fun trip that we will do every year.
