Lowe's Build and Grow Gingerbread House

Saturday, 12-13-08
Nana called us this morning and said that Lowe's was having a free workshop for the kids to build gingerbread houses, so we decided to go. I was thinking that it was going to be the edible gingerbread houses - didn't think about it being Lowe's.....building material. :0) It was great! We got there and the kids literally got to build a gingerbread house. Papa and Cole met us there too.

They are getting ready to build....putting on their aprons and safety goggles.
They got their kits and the blueprints out.
Elissa hard at work.Zach hammering away.Mom trying to help Elissa build her house though I kept using the wrong size nails. Oops!Nana got off work and came and helped us.Now they are putting on the stickers. Then they had fun riding on the carts. This is the badge they get to sew on their apron. We are going to start collecting them all in 2009. They have build and grow clinics twice a month usually.
